Tony Chang

Tony has business management and consulting experience in a range of pharmacy and industry settings focused on strategy development, execution and commercialisation of novel health care services. He has developed competencies including business acumen, operation management, stakeholder relationship understanding, design thinking and project management. His career demonstrates a track record of formulating and implementing sound strategies whilst acknowledging operational complexities, industry trends and environmental disruptions.

Tony draws on his diverse background to provide the right breadth and depth of critical analysis suitable to each situation.

Tony’s previous experience includes:

• business management of community pharmacies in metro and rural Australia;
• management consulting for a number of SMEs and corporations across a range of industries;
• commercialisation of novel health care services within the primary health care model;
• operational innovations in inventory efficiency automation, workflow design and workload-to-budget forecasting;
• design and implementation of community and aged care medication reconciliation, review and adherence services;
• collaboration with Diabetes Victoria and BOC at the Living Well with Diabetes Event to promote quality use of medicines;
• collaboration with Griffith University and YMCA NSW and successfully piloted a community Mental Health Clinic; and postgraduate research in preclinical cancer pharmacology.
