Michael founded PharmConsult in 2004 after deciding that hospitals and others in the healthcare industry had an unmet need for independent expert advice on hospital medication management and pharmacy matters.
He has been involved in various capacities in all of PharmConsult’s projects since then.
The projects have included reviews of public and private hospital pharmacy services, analysis of hospital medicine management processes and activities, provision of specialist advice to state and Federal health departments, market research, and management of tender processes for health services.
After ten years with PharmConsult Rosina continues to enjoy the variety of projects and the opportunities to research information, investigate options, apply knowledge and propose solutions that consulting provides.
In her time with PharmConsult, Rosina has assumed both lead and support roles in dozens of projects, developing expertise in a range of service areas such as managing requests for proposals (RFP), pharmacy service reviews and service optimisation, contract compliance monitoring, evaluation of service model options, medicines funding and access, and prison healthcare and pharmacy services.
Tony has business management and consulting experience in a range of pharmacy and industry settings focused on strategy development, execution and commercialisation of novel health care services. He has developed competencies including business acumen, operation management, stakeholder relationship understanding, design thinking and project management. His career demonstrates a track record of formulating and implementing sound strategies whilst acknowledging operational complexities, industry trends and environmental disruptions.
Tony draws on his diverse background to provide the right breadth and depth of critical analysis suitable to each situation.
Bob is a chartered accountant with over 30 years of business experience; was a partner in Melbourne mid-tier chartered accounting practice, Mann Judd, for 20 years overseeing the growth of that practice from 5 people to 180 when he left in 2006; then spent three and a half years as National Manager of the Business Advice Centre for National Australia Bank developing capability in the succession and acquisition, strategy development and valuation areas for advice to the aligned business of NAB; established Seaview Consulting in 2010, a specialist consulting practice , delivering advice to professional businesses in areas of strategy, financial analysis and valuation; holds the designation of Business Valuation Specialist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand; and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Andrew has 25 years’ experience in the design, construction, commissioning, validation and operation of a wide range of facilities, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, and hospital pharmacy cleanroom. He is the Independent Chair of ME-060 (Cleanroom Standards) for Standards Australia. Andrew specialises in cleanroom design, compliance, quality and safety.
John has worked in the health sector in a variety of roles including national advisor on public hospital funding policy and managing national clinician engagement strategies. His specific areas of expertise include program evaluation, health funding policy and funding models, and health service performance management. John has had a number of international strategic secondments.
Lili has expertise in health technology assessment (HTA), including modelled economic evaluation. She has gained invaluable HTA skills and experience working in various sectors including government, academia, and as a consultant to the harmaceutical industry. Lili is a member of the Life Saving Drugs Program Expert Panel, which provides advice to the Commonwealth in relation to products funded through the Program.
Pat has experience across a range of clinical, commercial, strategy and project leadership roles in healthcare. As the founder of Core Connect Group, Pat has expertise in major medical equipment procurement, commissioning and optimisation along with experience in site evaluation, concept development, and precinct planning.
Paul is an experienced executive and consultant with a deep understanding of the challenges facing healthcare providers, suppliers, and government and brings experience from the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. His style is to work collaboratively with senior leaders by guiding strategic decision that is backed up by a detailed understanding of data, financial flows and softer sources of evidence.
Silvio has worked in executive hospital management roles in Australia and the UK from 2003. Since 2015 he has worked as a consultant to government departments, hospitals and peak bodies and as an academic staff member teaching postgraduate students, and providing lectures in health and mental health reform. Silvio has served on the board of management of not-for-profit organisations as well peak bodies.
Steve has broad pharmaceutical market access experience including management of regulatory, health economics & pricing, corporate and government affairs, business development & new product commercialisation.
He has extensive experience in pharmaceutical price negotiation, deed agreements and innovative risk share agreements and a deep understanding of developments in health technology assessment.
